Leader of the Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych will be the most predictable opponent at the Presidential election. The confrontation with him will be the most desirable for other main candidates for president. Deputy chairman of the Agency of situation modeling Oleksiy Holobutskyi commented on decision of Viktor Yanukovych to participate in Presidential election, ForUm informs.
“Yanukovych will be the most convenient opponent for any candidate for president. First of all it is explained by hard localization of election niche, conservative image and significant decrease of electors’ motivation. Yanukovych will suffer from political apathy of the people and distrust to the political institution. It means that the character of the election campaign of Yanukovych and effective principles of confrontation with him can be counted in advance. So not only Tymoshenko, but even Yatsenyuk or Lytvyn have chances for victory,” the expert says.
