The chairman of the VRU Volodymyr Lytvyn has doubts on social break in the country.

“In order protest break in the country not to happen, people should estimate the situation. Otherwise uncontrolled protest from the people is possible. But I do not think such scenario is possible in Ukraine,” Lytvyn said in an interview on Monday, ForUm’s correspondent informs.

“Ukrainians do not trust the power any more. People are concentrated now on their own problems their way of life. People are concerned about solution of their own problems. Therefore, meetings and protest actions, initiated by the opposition, had not much support. People understood those meeting would bring no effect,” he added.

Volodymyr Lytvyn does not consider that Presidential elections will be crucial moment. But under current situation in the country and in the policy, in particular, one should not expect changes for the better. It can be even worse after Presidential elections, he added.
