Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko informed yesterday that the banks, which are now under temporal administration of the National Bank of Ukraine, will get the budget funds for increase of nominal capital, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
“These banks will be recapitalized by means of the government funds…It concerns the system banks of the first category,” she added.
Yulia Tymoshenko noted that the funds will be allocated for nominal capitals and also for payments with depositors.
As a reminder, the National Bank of Ukraine proposes 7 banks for recapitalization by means of the budget funds: the final list of the banks can be defined by the end of this week.
