Yushchenko wants to return 13% tax on import

President Viktor Yushchenko called for reintroduction of the 13% charge on import duty on agricultural products.

Yushchenko said that after a meeting in the Kyiv oblast, concerning the agro-industrial complex.

According to Yushchenko, it is necessary for support of domestic commodity producers. At that he noted that he understands how this decision important is.

As a reminder, on March 18, 2009 the Cabinet cancelled 13% surcharge on import duty for all products, apart from cars and refrigerators.
