Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Russia Yulia Tymoshenko and Vladimir Putin have overcome disagreements concerning modernization of the Ukrainian gas transport system.
Theн also agreed to hold Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental committee session for economic cooperation in late April. Yulia Tymoshenko said that today in Dnipropetrovsk.
Yulia Tymoshenko informed that the day before she had telephone talkы with Vladimir Putin concerning the approaches to preparation and forming of joint documents for the bilateral committee’s session.
As ForUm reported earlier, Russia postponed intergovernmental consultations with Ukraine, planned for April 8, because of gas declaration of Ukraine and EU, signed on March 23 in Brussels.
PM Putin criticized plans of Ukraine and EU, having said that it is unreal to reconstruct Ukrainian gas system without participation of Russia.
