President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko calls the government and the National Bank of Ukraine to take a decision which would help to renew the work of the IMF mission in Ukraine. He said that today in Baku.
“First of all the mission of the IMF should get from the government and NBU all necessary decisions which would provide reconsideration and renewal of the program,” the President said.
Yushchenko noted that it is very important that Ukrainian part to provide solution of those issue which were not solved. The President reminded that the matter concerns the changes into the state budget, issue on Naftogaz and Pension fund.
According to the President, the government still has not found effective control over inflation. The President considers that only balanced budget will help to do it.
The President called the parliament to make all necessary measures.
Yushchenko reminded that today after his arrival in Kyiv, he is going to hold a meeting with IMF mission representatives.
