Output growth in agrarian sector amounts 1.7% for the three months of 2009 as compared to the analogous period of 2008. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko disclosed during a meeting dedicated to the development of agricultural service cooperatives, government portal informs.
The Head of Government stressed all industrial branches in the world are facing economic recession. However, as Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized, according to the obtained data agrarian branch is demonstrating growth in Ukraine.
“We have 1.7% increase. It is the sign that in agrarian sector, despite the world financial crisis, the agrarians are protecting their fortress rather vigorously,” the Premier accentuated.
Moreover, for now there exist all prerequisites to gather a nice yield, as Yulia Tymoshenko added.
