The vice-speaker of the VRU, MP from the BYuT Mykola Tomenko considers that Ukraine has two alternative solutions of the current political crisis. He said that today at the briefing, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
According to Tomenko, the matter concerns compromise among all political forces or simultaneous elections of the President and VRU. “But I think the idea on compromise among all political forces has little chance, so maybe next week it is necessary to initiate issue on simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections,” he said.
According to him, such elections can take place even earlier than October 25. But at the same time, Tomenko noted that for such elections, definite changes into the election legislation should be taken.
As a reminder, on April 3 the President Viktor Yushchenko stated that he is ready to early presidential election, if they are taken together with early parliamentary elections.
The PR leader Viktor Yanukovych agreed with proposition of the President concerning early elections and offeres not to waste time and hold them earlier than October 25.
In turn, PM Yulia Tymoshenko did not support the initiative of the President to hold simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections.
