The first deputy of the State Duma committee on CIS Konstantin Zatulin considers that granting a loan to Ukraine by Russia must be connected with economic and humanitarian conditions. He said that today at the press conference in Moscow.

“My point of view is the following – we can’t refuse from the possibility to grant a loan to Ukraine at all. It can be given but under definite conditions,” Zatulin said.

He noted that nobody grants loans without any conditions.

Zatulin stressed on very strict conditions from IMF towards Ukraine. The matter concerns salary freezing, devaluation of hryvnya, etc. Any politician in Ukraine does not want to agree with such conditions before the presidential election.

According to him, that’s why Ukraine intends to get a loan from Russia because there are no such hard conditions.
