Ukraine must make a state order for the construction of airplanes for government needs, Premier Yulia Tymosehnko declared.
"We are obliged to form a state order to show that the state buys high-quality modern airplanes," she said on Friday opening a meeting dedicated to the aviation industry.
"We must make orders for the Defense Ministry and Emergency Ministry, for Interior Ministry if necessary and may be for some others departments. We must order and use them," Tymoshenko underlined.
She also pointed out a necessity to cooperate with other countries regarding the construction of airplanes.
In particular, the Premier informed that China and Japan are interested in "the develpment and construction of Ukrainian airplanes, as well as in the capturing of foreign markets for aiprlanes, produced by Ukraine."
