Yulia Tymoshenko informs the next week already Ukraine will trigger recapitalization of the banking system. She announced in her interview to journalists in Brussels, Government portal reported.
The Prime Minister added during the Summit of the European People’s Party among the issues raised was stabilization of the global banking system, in particular strengthening of its transparency. According to the Head of Government, the EPP’s Summit participants admitted the world financial-economic crunch proved the banking system has appeared the most vulnerable, so in this view special measures have to be taken. “Ukraine has a special program and from the following week will commence recapitalization of the banking system,” Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized.
Moreover, the PM told the EPP’s Summit, attended by presidents, prime ministers and leaders of parties of the countries of Europe, also concerned other issues joined to overcoming the crisis phenomena in the world. As Yulia Tymoshenko put it, the Summit’s participants agreed all the market mechanisms have to take into consideration a social component – “it is one of the crucial positions aired during the Summit of the European People’s Party today”.
