President Victor Yushchenko gave an interview to  Ukrainian weekly paper ‘Korrespondent’ and commented on the results of the IMF mission in Ukraine, president's press office informed.

“I regret that three days ago the IMF Mission left Ukraine. The resulting communication that was supposed to happen between Ukrainian Government and the Mission failed. The cause is only one – the world refuses to recognize economic parameters painted in rosy colorsm”, Yushchenko told  ‘Korrespondent’.

The President also expressed concerns about the fact that the Mission that has been working in Ukraine for three weeks was forced to leave our country just because “it could not find common language with the Government on macroeconomics, budget or anti-crisis steps”.

He expressed assurance that the Government should revise its economic strategy, state budget and its deficit and to make the document more realistic.
