The Government is ready to back up the aviation branch during the global financial crisis and give impetus to its development. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko told a meeting on problem issues of the Kharkiv Aviation Plant.
“The aviation branch - is our national pride, our national priority,” the Prime Minister said.
At the same time, Yulia Tymoshenko expressed regret that internationally known enterprises of aviation branch of Ukraine are destabilized, plundered and bankrupted. The Head of Government believes that it is necessary to urgently revive and develop the aircraft construction today, increasing work places at the same time. “This is the orientation which the state should not only support but give jumping-off place and impetus to make everything progress nonstop,” the Prime Minister stressed.
Moreover, Yulia Tymoshenko focused attention of the participants of meeting on the necessity to regulate the international cooperation system of domestic aircraft construction enterprises, “We should find partners, to strengthen our opportunities, we should integrate into the world markets and system of cooperation”.
