During the
joint press conference with the EC Energy Commissioner Andris
Piebalgs Yulia Tymoshenko announced that the GTS has
a state property form and it cannot be the subject for manipulations with
change of form of property, banned by the law.
“As Prime
Minister, I am persistent with the principles of law in force in Ukraine today, that the gas transport system
is a state property and it cannot be the subject for any manipulations,” Yulia
Tymoshenko urged.
At this,
the Head of Ukrainian Government underlined no issues with regards to gas transport
system of Ukraine, in particular, change of form of
property, handing over to a concession or joint enterprises, had been raised in
the course of negotiation process into settlement of gas conflict in Moscow.
