Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated at a press conference that due to cooperation of the Government and Parliament an issue of interrelations between banks and clients is regulated.

“I want to state that we have already fulfilled the first stage of this obligation: the law which bans the banks to unilaterally change any elements of contracts with the citizens of Ukraine and economical subjects has been adopted. It concerns all without exception terms of contracts – no unilateral changes,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.

“Besides, the Head of Government said, a special working group of representatives of the commercial banks, NBU and Government is established which is working at a single, integral bill regulating issues in interrelations between the client and the bank”. Yulia Tymoshenko assured that this bill would be submitted for the Parliament’s consideration within the next few days.
