At
the last sitting of rectors of institutes of higher education Minister
of Education Ivan Vakarchuk criticized institutes of higher education
of Crimea and Education Minister of Crimea Valeriy Lavrov because only
5% of disciplines are taught in the state language. In order to overcome
the language "psychological barrier" Vakarchuk proposed Crimean
teachers to take a study course in Western universities of Ukraine.
The press service of the Ministry of Education reports that in near
future the Minister wants to implement the practice of teachers
exchange between universities of Western and Eastern regions in order
to smooth over the language barrier.
