Negotiations on gas supplies between Ukraine and Russia will be actively supported by the European Union.
"We actively appreciate both sides for solution searching. We hope both countries will reach understanding on this issue," the head of the representative of the Commission of the European communities in Moscow Mark Franco said on air of "Echo of Moscow" radio station.
According to Mark France, the European Union hopes these negotiations will be led to the final end.problems on gas supplies and pricing will be solved.
