The
Party of Regions nominated candidacy of Oleksandr Lavrynovych to a
position of the VRU chairman. Oleksandr Yefremov first deputy chairman
of the Party of Regions stated after the sitting of chairmen of
parliamentary factions. According to him, this is done in order to
"start up the parliament's work".
At the same time he noted that "parliament's colleagues" demand to sign coalition agreement firstly.
"If we will manage to agree on the speaker's candidacy till tomorrow morning in any format, then the parliament's work will begin from speaker's election," Yefremov said.
