Central bank restricts withdrawals

National Bank of Ukraine alerts commercial banks against pre-term payment of deposits to the population.

The  Bank is worried that due to pre-term deposit payments liquidity of some banks is under threat.

Ban for the pre-term payment of deposits to the population by the commercial banks remains valid.  National Bank will evaluate activities of the banks against strict fulfilling by them the requirements of this ban.
