On behalf of the
Government of Ukraine Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko congratulated lawyers on launching the
Law Week National Forum.
"Legal profession is very
important for the Ukrainian society as due to the lawyers’ efforts implementation
of public legal policy, human rights and freedoms protection provided, domestic
legislation improved and adapted in compliance with the European Union
legislation. Due to the development of information technologies the lawyers have
new opportunities to form the people’s horizons.
I know that Your persistent work is on guard of law and Your professional
level, responsibility and devotion to duty lend credibility to the law and
power in the state.
Holding the National Law
Forum is a very important event for the Ukrainian society," premier's statement says.
Tymoshenko is confident, this event will encourage increase in legal culture and legal education among the population, will demonstrate to the Ukrainian society the legal services market in Ukraine and bring it out to new level.
