BYuT faction lawmakers Serhiy Mishchenko said this to UNIAN.
According to him, the BYuT faction will not hold any consultations and will not propose its candidacy for the Speaker’s post, because they “don’t want to take part in this coven any more”.
S.Mishchenko stressed that today, the main bargaining is going around two candidacies for the post of Speaker – Volodymyr Lytvyn and Ivan Pliushch.
The MP noted that much will depend on the position of the Communist party faction. “I don’t think that Mr.Adam Martyniuk will miss this opportunity, because this political force still plans to occupy the post of the Vice Speaker”, the MP said.
“We will not hamper forming the new coalition. Let Our Ukraine, Communists, Lytvyn, and the Party of Regions, form this coalition, because, unfortunately, the votes of CPU, Party of Regions, and the Lytvyn’s Bloc are not enough to form the coalition”, he said.
