The
head of the Central Election Commission Volodymyr Shapoval considers
that for proper arrangement of early parliamentary elections the
President Viktor Yushchenko must issue a new decree on elections. He
said that today, answering the journalists questions.
"If to hold elections it is necessary to set a new date, so I think it is necessary to issue a new decree. I am convinced that for legal and legitimate arrangement and holding of early elections one more decree is needed," he said.
According to Shapoval, without such decree there are many legal and political problems.
He noted that it is very difficult to realize the President's decree from September 9 on early elections, it is possible to realize it only with violation of terms.
