There will be no parliamentary elections on December 7. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated in her televised address to the people. "The government and parliament of Ukraine must work together. There should be no early elections, as they will open the locks for the world financial crisis, that's why on December 7 there will be no elections," she said.

Yulia Tymoshenko proposed all factions represented in the parliament to unite in "the coalition of protection from the world financial crisis" and to change the government's composition. She invited leaders of factions to begin consultations on October 20 at 12.00.

"Every faction must represent its best specialists for the work in the government... Such coalition and the government must act till the threat of financial crisis is taken away from the country and the world. And then make any elections that you want," the PM said.
