Four schools of Odessa are taking
part in the pilot project “Electronic journal”, due to which parents will have
a possibility to get information about progress of their children through SMS.
A deputy head of the Odessa department of education and science Ihor Perlov informed that the purpose of the project is timely filling of paper journals.
“If parents get such information electronically, the teachers will have to do everything in time – to give grades immediately, not to make them up later. And, of course, parents will be able to follow the progress of their children,” he noted.
According to him, such service will cost about 10 UAH per month, and parents will be able to choose among packages of services, including pupils’ schedule.
