“The Russian TV channels will
be included in the list of adapted to the Ukrainian and European legislation if
their owners guarantee to take proper actions and responsibility,” the first deputy
head of the council Ihor Kurus told Wednesday in Kyiv.
”The owners also can give the right on adaptation to Ukrainian legal persons who
will get the broadcast license in Ukraine and will be controlled by the
legislation,’ he added.
As reported earlier, the National council has received today a letter from the
Foreign Ministry of Russia with the proposition to send a group of experts to
hold talks on exchange of TV and radio programs between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
