President Viktor Yushchenko
is paying a working visit to Great Britain on October 6 and to Italy on October 7-8 by the invitation of
Italian President Giorgio Napolitano, press office of the President reported.
During his visit to Great
Britain Yushchenko will meet with Premier Gordon Brown and Foreign Secretary
David Miliband. “The main purpose of the visit is the continuation of the
Ukrainian-British dialogue on bilateral relations and urgent questions on
European security,” press office informs.
The agenda of the visit to Italy includes meeting of two presidents
and bilateral talks of the delegations, the meeting and talks between President
Yushchenko and Premier Silvio Berlusconi.
Ukraine’s President will also meet with
representatives of industrialist and entrepreneurs of Italy, talk to leading editors of Italian
mass media and meet with heads of Ukrainian public organizations of Italy.
