President
of Ukraine is concerned about the situation with the preparation of the
heating season. The temperature is below 10 degrees in some regions of
Ukraine, and it threats health condition of the most vulnerable layers
of the population, including orphans, pupils, hospital patients,
Yushchenko considers.
According to the head of state, heavy weather conditions in Ukraine must push the central and local governments to start the heating season earlier.
"I am calling the Cabinet and local self-governments to speed up the preparation and start the heating season. People must get heating in accordance with their needs, but not according to the calendar, waiting for the official date October 10," Yushchenko declared before his departure to the US.
"Altogether we must take step to meet the people of Ukraine. Actions for a good cause can unite the political forces and centers of influence," the President is sure.
