"Today
we have received clear signal that future cooperation between Ukraine
and the EU will be formed based on association agreement," the
President Viktor Yushchenko said in an interview with the Ukrainian
media after the XII EU-Ukraine Summit in Paris.
The President noted that the great work had been done by the Ukrainian diplomats to achieve such a result and thanked the Foreign Ministry for that.
In general, according to the President, the essence of the result lies in the fact that Ukraine's European identity has been affirmed for the first time.
