On the Independence Day of Ukraine Kyiv city state
administration decided to set a monument to journalist
Georgiy Gongadze, the press service of the administration reported.
In March 2007 the memorial made of grey granite was opened. Such words were carved: "On this place the monument to Georgy Gongadze and all representatives of the mass media died under unknown circumstances will be set".
But mother of the journalist Lesya Gongadzr is against the monument set until the investigation is completed.
