The Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction at the Verkhovna Rada considers that reports made by the Presidential Secretariat concerning agreements, reached between Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and Russian leadership, on assistance to Ukrainian prime minister at 2010 presidential elections, aim worsening of relations with Russia.

Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc press service said this in the report, Ukrainian News reported.

«Recent actions and statements made by Viktor Baloha [the head of the Presidential Secretariat] and his subordinates aim tensing of relations between the prime minister of Ukraine and leaders of the Russian Federation,» the report said.

At the same time, the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc considers that the Presidential Secretariat aims to provoke raise of gas prices for Ukraine by Russia.

Bloc members said that in this case, the secretariat will have an opportunity to accuse Tymoshenko.

At the same time, the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc says that Tymoshenko has not launched the presidential election campaign.

As reported earlier , on August 21, Internal Affairs Minister Yurii Lutsenko requested President Viktor Yuschenko to assess the statement made by President's Secretariat Deputy Chief Andrii Kyslynskyi about Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko having agreements with Russian top officials on support of her candidature at the 2010 presidential elections in Ukraine.

Tymoshenko had denied the statement the President's Secretariat released about her alleged agreements with Russian leaders on support for her candidacy in the 2010 presidential elections.

On August 18, the Presidential Secretariat asked law enforcement agencies to check information about agreements reached between the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc and Russia on support of a candidate from the bloc at the Ukrainian presidential elections.

The Presidential Secretariat released the statement about such agreements on August 14.
