All international agreements must be
observed including the Treaty on disposition of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation
on the territory
of Ukraine
till 2017, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced at a press
conference, Cabinet's press office informed.
According to her, this is just the
approach existing in legal, democratic and civilized countries.
Yulia Tymoshenko strongly objects
any escalation of tension between Ukrainian authorities and the Black Sea Fleet.
Prime Minister views “Ukrainian
authorities should act with great responsibility and have no right to engage Ukraine
into any military conflict. We have been observing during recent weeks how
one-way actions, I say one-sided actions, can affect the lives of whole
nations”. Yulia Tymoshenko is assured the position of Ukrainian authorities
have to be sensible and well-weighed, the one that “will never make the
territory of Ukraine
the territory of any, God forbid, military tension”. Yulia Tymoshenko considers
such an approach concerns also all the decisions connected to the Black Sea
Fleet.
