Prime Minister of Ukraine
Yulia Tymoshenko declares that her ambitions “will not ruin unity of the democratic
coalition concerning a common candidate for the presidential election in 2010.”
Tymoshenko said at the session of the World Congress of Ukrainians. “We will
move as a single team. The main task of the coalition is to keep its unity,”
she said.
“I want you to know that my
ambitions will not ruin the unity of the candidate from the democratic
coalition, will not ruin our strategy to build Ukraine we are all dreaming of,” Tymoshenko
declared.
She also added that she
respects the President Yushchenko. Tymoshenko pointed out that Ukraine has been ruled by the democratic president
since 2004. She noted there are democratic majority and democratic government,
which are the guarantee of Ukraine’s course to Europe
The Premier also declared
that there is not threat for the Ukrainian language. As a proof, she stated
that children of those politicians who stand for Russian language as the second
state one study in Ukrainian schools.
