Miss World final moved from Kyiv over war in Ossetia

But the Miss World 2008 Final has been called off and a new host country is being sought in connection with the events in South Ossetia. Contest period is also to be changed.

Deputy mayor Vitaly Zhuravsky said in a statement that new host would be a country or an exotic island with warm climate.

According to Zhuravsky, this decision was taken in the interest of contestants and the Miss World Organization.
