During the briefing the Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko refuted statements of some deputies of the Party of Regions on that BYuT agreed to include the status of the Russian language as the second state language in Ukraine into its draft changes into the Constitution.

"BYuT does not change its principles and goals. Our position is firm and clear: Ukraine has only one state language, which is Ukrainian. Any other information is not true," Tymoshenko declared.
