The Party of Regions appeals
to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko to submit for consideration
the dismissal of the Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko in connection with “violations
of law, Constitution and human rights during the arrest of the acting mayor of
Kharkiv Gennady Kernes.”
The statement of the Party
of Regions also says that this political force asks the Prosecutor’s General
Office to institute a criminal case against Lutsenko.
The Party of Regions also
asks the Prosecutor’s General Office to hold “immediate psychiatric examination
of Yuri Lutsenko, as his actions are inadequate.”
