Now the issue on content of
genetically modified organisms (GMO) in products is urgent in the whole world. There
are polar opinions concerning this issue: including absolute harmlessness and
even panacea to overcome food crisis, as well as total ban of GMO.
Director of the department
of marketing group "Konti" Yevhen Vasylenko said that today in scope
of the round table in the media-hall of the IMC.
"The consumers must
know what they eat. Therefore we stand for products containing GMO to be marked
and that must be done at the legislative level," he added.
