From September of the current year Ukraine is expected to use a system on statistics calculation in accordance with the European statistics.
The Economy Minister Bohdan Danilishyn informs.
He noted that the state statistics committee introduces gradual changes of the methodic in accordance with the European norms.
"We gradually introduce new forms of calculations - weight coefficients will be changed. Changed are made every year, but earlier this issue was not politicized as it is now," he noted.
The Minister expressed hope that new methodic of the statistics calculations may be introduced already in September. At that Danilishyn noted that new methodic should be introduced when deflation or zero inflation will be fixed in the country.
"We plan to adapt to the system, used by the European statistics and to use those approaches, used in the majority of the European countries," the Minister said.
