The sate budget of the Government provides the increase of average pension in 1.5 times. Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko stated today presenting the project of amendments to the state budget 2008, as ForUm’s correspondent reports.
According to her, if the Verkhovna Rada adopts the Government’s budget, since today the pensioners will have additional 13% to their incomes. “And if they don’t the pensioners will get nothing,” said the Prime Minister.
Tymoshenko paid attention that the factions that had left the Parliament’s sitting, may be responsible that the average pension will be at a lower level than it could be since today. The Premier believes the state budget was to be adopted long time ago, that is why she asks to adopt the main financial document of the state today.
