The political conflict shouldn’t come to war, said leader of the Party of Regions, ex-prime-minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. He said at a briefing, held on the territory of Mykolo-Vasyliivskyi monastery of the Holy Dormition in the Donetsk region.

Giving a reply to the question how he took the presents to his birthday from his political opponents, he said:” I took them the way they had taken my presents - with gratitude, in a humane manner”, as UNIAN reports.

Yanukovych said that “regardless we are political opponents we are all humans and the political conflict shouldn’t come to war”. “We shouldn’t look for enemies in Ukraine we should look for allies. And we should find the decision how we live on this land,” said the leader of the Party of Regions.
