Head of political-legal programs of the Razumkov centre, Yuriy Yakymenko forecasts that Ukraine expects a “very interesting autumn”. The political scientist said at the today’s press-conference in Kyiv.

“It is possible that in autumn, we will see the things we can’t even talk about today, which look groundless and unbelievable. The only thing we know for sure is that the political autumn and the end of the year will be very interesting,” said Yakymenko.

Making forecasts of political events, the political scientist said there are no grounds for early elections now, but “they can show up in autumn”.

According to Yakymenko there can be a wide coalition including the Party of Regions and NU-NS; the coalition can also be extended with the Lytvyn Bloc, who may require serious posts, from the VR head to the post in the Government, as UNIAN reports.

At the same time, it is unlikely, but theoretically possible, that the coalition will be formed of BYuT and PR. “This can’t be ruled out, especially considering the question of the Constitutional reform,” explained Yakymenko.

He also said that in summer, the political situation is not to change in essence though the people’s deputies will have a rest in the same places, where they can have negotiations on proper questions.
