The governors of 6 regions, called by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, will not be present on the today’s sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers. President’s representative in the Cabinet, Oleksandr Shlapak stated before the sitting, as ForUm’s correspondent reports.
According to him, it makes no sense, that the governors were present at the Cabinet’s sitting today.
Shlapak also said that the amendments to the Law of Ukraine about state budget 2008 are not coordinated with the President.
As ForUm reported earlier, the Government planned to hear the reports of the heads of regional state administrations “about the activities, directed on the ensuring of the price stability and paying arrears of wages in the economy sector”.
On June 11, the Government planned to hear the governors of the Sumy, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Odesa regional state administrations regarding the reasons which caused highest inflation rates in the regions.
Though, the President’s Secretariat stated that the governors will not be at the sitting of the Cabinet on June 11, because it hasn’t been coordinated with the President.
