President Viktor Yushchenko took part in the opening of the 20th International Agricultural Exhibition-Fair "AGRO-2008", President's press office reports.
Speaking at the event President Yushchenko said: ‘Nowadays we see agrarian Ukraine, which has always been known to the world as grain basket of Europe, is returning to the market’.
He also noted positive tendency at the world’s agricultural market, which should be used by national agricultural producers. ‘In agricultural sector we have a unique opportunity to raise profitability and effectiveness,’ he said.
