President Viktor Yushchenko held a meeting with the U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos Miguel Gutierrez. President's press office reports.
At the meeting the sides discussed implementation of the Roadmap, signed by Presidents of Ukraine and the USA during President Bush’s visit to Ukraine, trade-economic cooperation between the states, investments partnership, etc. Besides, the President expressed expectancies to U.S. Secretary of Commerce that in perspective our states could begin negotiations on establishing a free trade zone.
From his part Mr. Gutierrez conveyed greetings to Mr. Yushchenko on behalf of George Bush.
