In presence of President Viktor Yushchenko, in Toronto, a Memorandum on cooperation in nuclear energy production between Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine and Atomic Energy of Canada Limited was initialed (from the Ukrainian side it was initialed by Deputy Energy Minister Yuriy Nedashkovsky).
The main aim of the document is to establish a framework for cooperation between Ukraine and Canada in applying CANDU nuclear reactors and other Canadian nuclear technologies in Ukraine. President's press office reports.
