Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko considers that the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko must take responsibility for inflationary processes in the country as he cancels governmental decisions directed at struggle against inflation. Tymoshenko stated at a press conference in the Cabinet of Ministers.

“Do you remember that there was rising prices for oil and the government reacted as it is foreseen by the legislation – it limited export. The President canceled this. I think that the President has taken responsibility for all questions on inflation,” Tymoshenko said.

The Prime Minister reminded that the President didn’t sign the anti inflation laws which were adopted in the Verkhovna Rada by the democratic coalition and also that the democratic coalition didn’t support all anti inflation laws which the government had proposed.

Besides, Tymoshenko has added that this is not the first resolution directed at struggle against inflation which Yushchenko cancels.
