President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko calls to formation of single energy policy in the European space. He stated in his speech at the opening ceremony of the Energy summit in Kyiv.
The President has emphasized that today energy markets face challenges, including the politicization of relations, and none of the countries can cope with this challenges independently. “The oil and gas become the continuations of policy,” Yushchenko said, noting that this is the illustration that organization of energy market needs serious changes.
According to him, today’s forum will be dedicated to this, as well as tomorrow’s summit of states’ heads. He has emphasized that it is necessary to build new policy of relations among consumers, producers and those who transit energy recourses.
