Ukraine was elected to the UNO Commission for stable development for 2009-2012. The press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
At the session of the UNO Economic and social council Ukraine was unanimously elected as a member of the Committee on program and coordination for 2009-2011.
According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Ukraine’s election to these organs shows its high authority in the UNO and support of international community of Ukraine’s activity in social-economic and financial directions.
