And the leaders of the NATO countries-members unanimously declared that Ukraine and Georgia will become members of the Alliance in future”. “This was a strategic decision of exclusive importance, which enables to avoid of delimited line in Europe,” the politician summarized.
According to Fried, “it’s true that Georgia’s and Ukraine must do much”. “They know this and recognize that today they are not ready for NATO membership. These countries must correspond to established NATO standards. But taken by the Alliance decision means that their joining NATO is the question of time,” Daniel Fried said.
