President of Ukraine sharply criticizes situation in the agrarian sector of economics and calls the government to do necessary steps in order to improve it. He stated during the plenary session of the National three-sided social-economy council in Kyiv on Monday. The ForUm’s correspondent reports.
Yushchenko says that according to the results of the first quarter of current year, only 0,01% is allocated to financing of the agrarian sector.
He reminds that the budget foresees about UAH 9 milliards to finance different agricultural programs, when it was allocated only UAH 160 millions.
The President also criticizes the fact that from the beginning of the current year the agricultural production has shortened by 0,4%. “This is the problem of everybody, but not the problem of a minister, the government, or the PM,” the President said.
