President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko warns about populism during changes and amendments introduction to the Law on State budget for 2008. He stated during the plenary session of the National three-sided social-economy council in Kyiv on Monday. The ForUm’s correspondent reports.
“We must adopt the intelligent budget of nation and the corresponding economic program,” the Head of the State said.
“It is very sensible for us how to distinguish political populism from responsibility for stability, economic development, high social standards,” the President noted.
